ABOUT HUNGER TASK FORCE
Hunger Task Force is Milwaukee’s Free & Local food bank and Wisconsin’s leading anti-hunger organization. The food bank delivers healthy food free of charge to local pantries, meal programs and senior centers. Each month, over 50,000 people are served through this network. A key source of this healthy food includes fresh produce from Hunger Task Force’s 208-acre Farm in Franklin. The Farm grows 25 types of fresh fruits and vegetables for the express purpose of feeding the hungry. Annually, half a million pounds of locally- sourced produce are grown and distributed through the Hunger Task Force network, increasing access to fresh and healthy foods for local hungry families.
