MILKMEN WIN BACK AND FORTH BATTLE AGAINST LAKE COUNTRY SATURDAY NIGHT; PREPARE FOR SWEEP SUNDAY AFTERNOON AT FRANKLIN FIELD.
FRANKLIN, WI - The Milwaukee Milkmen of the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball defeated the Lake Country DockHounds in a hard fought game Saturday night at Franklin Field.
“It was a great come from behind victory for us tonight,” said Milwaukee Milkmen Left Fielder #23 Chad Sedio. “It’s still early in the season but we are showing a lot of fight and keep gaining momentum.”
Sedio, the Spiderz Batting Gloves Player of the Game led the Milkmen with 3 hits and 2 RBI’S on the night.
One of the newest Milwaukee, First Baseman #18 Correlle Prime had a hit on the night and scored two runs in the teams victory.
“We’re still getting settled in on the season but we know we have a really good roster,” said Prime postgame. “We need to continue to have good at bats at the plate and have fun. That’s what we’re doing on and off the field and of course putting in the work and growing as a team. I’m excited to see how things will play out this season.”
Final Score: Milwaukee Milkmen 10, Lake Country DockHounds 7.
The Milkmen looks to sweep the DockHounds back to Oconomowoc Sunday afternoon at 1pm.
